| Book on Article 370 released by V K Chopra | | | Early times report
Jammu, Mar 14: A book focussing on Article 370, according special status to Jammu and Kashmir, was today released by Editor-in-Chief of Hind Samachar Group Vijay Kumar Chopra here. The 180-page book 'Article 370 - a thorn in state's integration with rest of India' authored by state BJP leader Chaman Lal Gupta dwells on the political developments in Jammu and Kashmir since 1947. The author describes Article 370 as one of main stumbling blocks in the way of "emotional, constitutional and economic" integration of Jammu and Kashmir with rest of the country. Speaking on the occasion, Chopra said the leaderhip has "failed" to take firm stand on issues concerning it. The leadership awakens only when terrorists attack cities like Delhi or Mumbai, he charged. Though Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is a very nice and honest man, he is also "soft", Chopra said.
