Jammu, Mar 14: Kranti Dal Youth Working President, Samarjeet Singh and General Secretary, Harasis Singh after visiting Govt. Psychiatric Hospital at Ambphalla have found that only one doctor and two nurses are attending about 150 patients. Condition of the bathrooms of the hospital is unhygienic.
They also said that many of these mentally retarded persons were lying nude on roadsides thus giving very bad impression on school going children, females etc. Many of these are beggars who have occupied passenger sheds, old building parks etc.
Kranti Dal appealed to the concerned authorities and Health Minister to look into the matter and sort out the problems of the patients at the earliest.
