| Sabre Brigade organises ex-sevicemen meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 14: An Ex-servicemen (ESM) meet was organised by Sabre Brigade today at Ratnuchak for the retired army personnel of the area. A total of 92 ex-servicemen attended the meet in addition to the 20 serving officers of the formation. The meet was chaired by Brigadier Kulpreet Singh, Commander, Sabre Brigade. Speaking on the occasion, Brig Singh complimented all the ex-ervicemen for their support to army in maintaining peace in the area. He gave a patient hearing to the problems of ex-servicemen and promised to resolve them. Addressing the gathering, Ex Honorary Captain Karam Singh (94 years) of CIH who retired in 1974, narrated his war experiences and assured his whole hearted support to army. At the end, senior most present ESM, Col Ranjeet Singh (Retd) addressed the meet where he advised all ESM to continue with their responsibilities towards the Army. He also assured whole hearted support to Army in the event of any mobilisation for war. On the occasion, prizes were also given to Veer Naris (Brave Women) of the area by the Formation Commander besides arrangement of light refreshments for everyone.
