| CRPF organises civil action programme | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT BHADERWAH, Mar 14 : Continuing with its mission of good will gesture in rural and militancy infested areas of state, 33rd Battalion of CRPF today organized a civil action programme in the premises of Government Degree College, Bhaderwah. On the occasion, sports items worth Rs 50,000 distributed among the students of various government institutions. SDM Bhaderwah Yashda Mudgala was chief guest along with Additional Superintendent of Police T R Katoch while SDPO Bhaderwah Abdul Quyoom and Dr Kapil were special guests, who appreciated the good will activities of 33rd battalion and highlighted the role of CRPF in insurgency areas. Students and local people also spoke on the occasion and appreciated CRPF and extended full hearted support to them. Local people on the occasion also appreciated the work done by CRPF personnel last month at Chatergala, Bhaderwah where it saved and rescued 4 persons from avalanche which were trapped there despite bad weather, added Saima Malik. They said that CRPF 33 Battalion left no stone unturned to trace out other 3 persons. The people hoped that in near future too CRPF organized such good will programmes for the welfare of rural students' community who is the future of nation. The civic action programme was held under the supervision of Deputy Commandant Durga Ram and presided over by DPS Rana.
