As the members of J&K Panthers Party and BJP tried to take on the government over what they said has an issue that has paralysed the work in hundreds of offices and brought anarchy and unrest on the roads, the Finance Minister got up to say that he would take the entire House into confidence as to what options government was considering over the employees' demands during his reply on discussion on the budget."Please wait and have patience for day.....I would take the house into confidence...... an atmosphere is beuild again for some fruitful and conclusive talks.....please do not's vitiate that atmoshpere", Rather said adding that leaders of different employees' organisations have been informed and they have agreed to talk. The Finance minister also sought to dismiss opposition accusations that government was not responsive to the cause and concern of agitating employees. He said government had already invited over 50 leaders of different organisations a day before. Earlier, as the House assembled for day's proceedings in the morning, the members of BJP, J&K Panthers Party and even some members of P DP got up on their seats and started raising the voices in support of employees. As they raised their voices in a loud manner, din prevailed in the House for some time until the Speaker Mohammad AKbar Lone intervened and asked the members to let the question hour proceedings go smoothly and they would be allowed to speak on the issue after it is over. While Speaker's intervention helped resume normal business, it was Panthers Party leader Harsh Dev once again who got up soon after the question hour to rake up what he said the 'anarchy' and and an atmosphere of restlessness seen all over on account of agitating employees and unemployed youth. " Work in all the offices stands paralysed in an important month like March.........on one hand work has been affected as hundreds of Secretariat employees have come on roads and on the other hand there is a wave of uncertainty and unrest that has gripped the entire state.........", Harsh said alleging that government was not resonding even to the call of the students whose career and studies were at stake due to ongoing strike.BJP senior leader Prof Chaman Lal Gupta also raised his voice contending it was no issue as it involves a huge number of over four lakh employees. "No party is trying to make it a political issue....we all want there should be some consensus to ned the stalemate for resumption of normal work in the offices", the BJP leader said in the House.
