| JKNPP leader opposes Women's Bill | | |

JAAMU, Mar 15:Syed Mohd. Rafiq Shah, MLC and State General Secretary JKNPP has opposed the most controversial Women's Bill in the Upper House of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, here today. JKNPP leader said that the introduction of this Bill in the Upper House was basically a grave constitutional violation, as the Bill to amend constitution should only come through the Lower House of the Legislature as required under law. The private bill moved by PDP members has again put the entire Jammu and Kashmir into flames as every one knows it may not convert into provincial clashes as seen in the Amarnath land row.
