Udhampur , March 15: In a rare example of its kind the villagers of Latti today organised a function to facilitate local Sho Vijay Thakur for making effort to solve the theft case which took place a week before here in a tecahers house . Villagers in a function held here appreciated the sho and highlighted his working and efforts for curbing crime in the area . Speaker while appreciating the working of local Sho on the occasion Gh Mohamed said that a week before burglars struck in the house of his brother in village Latti and decamped with gold ornaments and household items of worth thousands but with the timely swiftness and efforts of local police they arrested burglar involved in theft case and recovered stolen items from here . He added that beside this local police team headed by Sho always remain stand by for the service of villagers which is an example . He appeal other police officers to follow the foot steps of Latti police team to win the hearts and minds of people for ensuring peace in there respective areas .Local Sho also thanked people for honouring him and said that this is all due to joint efforts of police and public that we can change the things .
