| BAJ suspend work against police hierarchy | | |

Jammu, Mar 19: Bar Association Jammu (BAJ) today suspend the work in the High Court and Subordinate Court against the brutal torture of advocate Joyti Saroop by SHO Ajay Jamwal and his associate constables at Naka Point, thereafter kept advocate in police lock-up.
According to the General Secretary Rajesh Thappa Advocate Saroop managed to contact him on mobile at the late hours in night, he rushed to the police station and released the advocate from the police, who was injured by the police and was admitted to Gandhi Nagar Hospital. The members of the BAJ demanded immediate suspension of the Police officials of the said police station. Due to work suspend of the BAJ, the work suffered in the Janipur Court Complex. JNF
