| MLC Wazir meet DDC | | |

Jammu, Mar 19: A deputation led by MLC S.T. Wazir along with corporator, Rajesh Bakshi called on the District Development Commissioner, Jammu in connection with the proposed widening of Satwari Airport road. Wazir urged upon the DDC that the Administration should fulfill its promise extended to the people likely to be affected by the proposed widening of the road to 6 lanes particularly with regard to re-habilitation of the affectees. He stressed that the people who are likely to be shifted from their houses and shops etc. should be suitably rehabilitated and compensated. The DDC said that he will call the Chief Engineer R&B and other heads of departments in the first week of April 2010 and sort out the matter with them.
