Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 19: The India Doctors for Peace and Development (IDPD) have appealed to all the legislators of Jammu & Kashmir State irrespective of their party affiliation to reject the controversial Permanent Resident (PRC) qualification bill presented in the legislative assembly where female permanent residents of J&K will loose their PRC after marriage to a non-state subject. With this bill an invisible iron curtain is proposed to practice gender apartheid against women of J&K. As per press release IDPD believes that when the Govt. of India is pursing through Women reservation bill and the High court has decided to give Permanent permission to women n the armed forces, presenting such a bill is discriminatory and against the principle of natural justice and gender equality.
