| 108 birth anniversary of Dhanwantri celebrated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 20: The 108 birth anniversary of comrade and freedom fighter 'Dhanwantri' was celebrated at New College of Education Sainik Colony here today. The chief guest on the occasion was minister for R&B GM Saroori. While paying tribute to late Dhanwantri he highlighted the sacrifices of comrade for the upliftment of downtrodden people. Dhanwantri was resident of Kalijani is old city and played important role during freedom struggle. Among others who also spoke were MLC, Trilochan Wazir, Ved Parkash Gandotra, Paras Ram Po-onchi, Tarun Bahal and Ved Parkash etc.
