| MLC Condoles death of young students | | | Jammu | Oct 12
The MLC and Sr. Congress leader has strongly condemned the beating of a young student by a teacher in the school resulting in suicide by the boy. Singh called on Peerzada Mohd. Sayeed, Minister of Education at Srinagar, and Pleaded for Provisions of code of conduct for the Private School/Colleges management committees and the teachers to avoid beating of the students.
The loss of life of a young bud, who took the extreme step of committing suicide, in an act of most irresponsible attitude of the teacher, as also on part of the Principal of the school has taken up the matter with the Govt. to issue necessary directions to the Private Educational institutions to ensure that such like incidents do not occur again. The Teaching fraternity is supposed to be Polite and sympathetic in building and shaping of the future of the wealth of the Nation, and incidents of this type are a blot on the fair name of noble profession.
Singh, has expressed his deep sympathies with the bereaved family, and urged the Minister. The education Minister, while expressing his sympathy towards the bereaved family has promised to take appropriate action in the matter on priority.
