| ACC wins by 6 wkts to enter QFs | | Udhampur Cup Cricket Tournament | | EARLY TIMES REPORT UDHAMPUR, Mar 20: Brilliant all round performance from Sushil Dogra today guided Amateur Cricket Club (ACC) to a superb six wickets win over Katra Cricket Club (KCC) on way to the quarterfinals of the ongoing Udhampur Cup Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, here today. Sushil, who took three wickets and played unbeaten innings of 31 runs was the obvious choice for the man of the match award in today’s pre-quarterfinal match. Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, KCC bowled out for 123 runs in 31.4 overs of the 35 overs match. In reply, ACC chased the total in just 19.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Baba was top scorer from KCC with 27 runs while Amir contributed 19. From ACC, Sushil and Parul clinched three wickets each. Later, chasing the target, ACC reached the required target of 124 runs for the loss of four wickets sparing 15.4 overs of their innings. Sushil and Vikram were main scorers with unbeaten innings of 31 and 27 runs in their respective accounts. For his all round performance, Sushil was declared man of the match. Paramjeet Singh and Rahul were umpires in today’s match while Sahil was scorer. NEXT MATCH: Elite Cricket Club Udhampur to take on SMVDU Club at 10 am tomorrow.
