| Three days long eye camp concludes in Udhampur | | | SARITA JAMWAL EARLY TIMES REPORT UDHAMPUR, Mar 20: Three days long free eye camp being organized by the District Health Department (DHC) Udhampur finally concluded here today. Eye camp was organized in the memory of late Dr Ramesh Chander Gupta with the active support of District Blindness Control Society (DBCS) Udhampur. On final day of the camp MS District hospital Udhampur Dr. Chander Parkash was the chief guest. In three days long camp team of Doctors headed by senior surgeon Dr. Nirmal Gupta, Dr. Ashok Sharma, technician Kunti Kumar, Krishan Kumar and many mores have examined 473 patients ailing from different eye diseases. Team also operated upon 51 patients in the hospital also. Family members of the late Dr Ramesh Gupta (Eye specialist) has distributed free diet, fruits and food to the patients in the memory of late Dr. Ramesh.Speaking on the occasion MS Dr Chander Parkash said that DHS has organized the camp with spirit to provide the poor and down trodden section of the society free treatment who can not effort to go out side the town due to their financial crises. He further said that as such free medical camp will remain continue in true spirit in future also.
