| Shastri hails union govt's decision | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 20: President National Mazdoor Conference\ Subash Shastri, has hailed the decision of the union cabinet in releasing the installment of 8% DA due from January 2010 in favour of central government employees and pensioners.
Shastri has also appealed the Chief minister, Omar Abdullah to release the same installment of DA to employees and pensioners well before Baisakhi festival, so that employees and pensioners could get some relief from the rising prices of essential commodities.
He hoped that Chief Minister would pay his special attention to the other pending demands of the working class especially removal of anomalies in the SRO 93 and those of the workers who have been employed as daily wages but were not regularized even after the expiry of seven to fifteen years of there working.
He also focused the attention of the Chief Minister towards long pending demands of the employees included early payment of 6th pay commissioner arrears. |
