| Parashuram Jayanti from May 14-16 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 20: Dogra Brajman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) announced to celebrate Bhagwan Shri Parashuram Jayanti from May 14-16 as per traditional ritual and set principal of Hindu Dharma. Addressing media persons here today, Shakti Dutt Sharma, General Secretary and spokesperson said that as per the programme Shri Shri Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati, Raj Guru Dashnami Akhara Poonch will deliver spiritual discourses on 14th and 15thMay 2010 in Parade Ground and On 16th of May 2010 on the occasion of Akshya Tritya Yogyopaveet ceremony will be performed. He added that the Jayanti programme will conclude with the Nagar Parikarma by various Saints and prominent personalities of the society in the premiership of Swami Vishwatma Nand Ji passing through the old city for the peace of J&K State.
The local units of Sabha R.S. Pura, Samba, Kathua, Akhnoor, Sunderbani, Nowshara, and Udhampur will also celebrated the Jayanti Sammaroh on different dates at there places. Among others who were present in the press conference included Ved Parkash Sharma (President), Suresh Sharma (Vice President), P.C. Sharma (Pattern), Sat Pal Sharma and others.
