| Sageer's recommendations on ST status to Paharis hailed | | |

Jammu, Mar 20: Pahari leaders, Tahir Manhas in a meeting of Pahari front workers has hailed the recommendation of Justice Sageer in recommending to central and state governments for granting schedule tribe (ST) status to the Pahari speaking community.
Manhas also said that the case led by previous state government headed by different chief ministers as well as governors have already recommended to the central government for granting schedule tribes status to the pahari speaking people.
He further stated that in views of the merits of the case, the central government must grant status of ST to the pahari speaking people at the earliest.
