Jammu, Mar 22: Nehru Yuva Kendra in collaboration with Helpline Hum-anity organized the concluding function of District fortnightly sports tournament at Nagrota Camp here today.
Minister for Education, Peer Zada Mohd Sayeed, was the Chief Guest on the occasion, who later on distributed prizes among the winners and runners- up teams.
While addressing a large gathering of participating teams and the camp inmates, the Minister said that sports plays a vital role in building a healthy society.
Lavishing praise on the organizers for organizing this mega event, The minister said that Govt was fully committed in promoting sports in nooks and corners of the state. He appreciated the ehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and Helpline Humanity for organizing such events and also assured them all help from the Govern-ment and his personal support.
