| Absentee employee spotted in LA, suspended | | |

JAMMU, Mar 22: The State Government today placed under suspension one of local bodies employees who was attending the proceedings of State Legislative Assembly during the second sitting here.
Spotting a government employee identified as Ghulam Nabi Lone, a local body employee while attending proceedings from Speaker's gallery, the Speaker Mohammed Akbar Lone sought answer from the government as to how a government servant attending the proceedings.
Acting on the directions of the Speaker, Minister for Forest Mian Altaf on the behalf of government, informed the speaker that Ghulam Nabi Lone is a head assistant in Rafiabad and had left the station without seeking permission of the concerned authorities.
The Minister informed the House that the absentee employee has been put under suspension. |
