| Terminate CMO Pulwama: MLA | | |

JAMMU, Mar 22: MLA Langate, Engineer Abdul Rashid today demanded termination of Ghulam Mohammad Sofi, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Pulwama after he was caught on video while raping a woman in his office chamber.
Soon after the question hour in the Legislative Assembly, the MLA said that the government has only suspended the CMO Pulwama who is already facing the charges of fudging evidence in the infamous Shopian case.
"Several cases have already been registered against the CMO and the government has just suspended him. The Government should immediately terminate the CMO as he was being blackmailed by some persons having the video clipping of the incident," he said.
