| Parents holds protest against Carmel Convent School | | |

Jammu, Mar 23: A strong protest demonstration was held in the premises of Carmel Convent School at Kunjwani today. The parents who were hundreds in number strongly protested against the school management and particularly against the principal of the school for not redressing the genuine problems. As per the parents, the school management has raised the fee structure without giving any notice and also demanding Rs 1000 for orientation, demonstration, seminar, gifts and prizes which the parents strongly objected. Some of the parents also said that the school authorities are working like a dictator and not giving result of their wards unless they pay the dues. They are also not issuing discharge certificate to those students who want to leave the school unless the said amount/ dues are paid. Are we living in autocratic rule or in a democracy. Some of the parents also said that the attitude of the principal is not friendly and want immediate removal of her.
Later, all the parents resorted to shouting slogans against the school managements.
