| KV board organizes awareness camp on PMEGP | | |

Rajouri, Mar 23: The J&K Khadi and Village industries board today organized an awareness camp on prime minister's employment generation programme (PMEGP) at Gambhir Brhamna in block Manja Kote to promote the concept of self-employment among the unemployed youth.
Speaking on the occasion Gen Manager district industries centre appealed that people should contribute in implementation of the developmental schemes like PMEGP initiated by the Government adding that the talented youth of the state can adopt this field of earning as there is huge potential and talent of handicraft and Khadi in the district.
The district officer, KVIB KH Chib elucidating the detailed features of PMEGP informed that the board provides 25% of the project cost as margin money in case of general and 35% of the project cost in case of the special category to the entrepreneurs which is a large quantum.
