JAMMU, Mar 24 : In a district level meeting of All India backward classes union held today organised by Convener of the union Tara Chand Targotra , Vice Chairman Kuldeep Raj Verma was the Chief Guest .All the speakers expressed their satisfaction over the constitution of the state OBC Advisory Board a land mark decision of the state govt with its Vice Chairman Kuldeep Raj Verma . Participants, in the meeting also discussed in thread wave about the rally to high light the OBC pending demands viz Enhancement in Reservation from 2% to 27%, one OBC certificate for both state as well as centre services. Abolishing the creamy layer as in case of SCs and STs. It was an unanimously decision to hold a rally in the near future in which Hon'ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Prof Saif ud Din Soz ,President of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee would be invited . A unanimous appeal was made for the state OBCs to remain united under one umbrella so that the set targets could be achieved for the coming OBC generations. |
