Early Times Report JAMMU: Chief minister Omar Abdullah today said a total of 58 militants, including 43 foreign mercenaries, were undergoing convictions for indulging in militancy-related incidents in the state. "At present 43 foreigners and 15 local militants are undergoing convictions for indulging in militancy-related activities in Jammu and Kashmir", he said in an official release. They would be released only after completion of their terms of punishment, he added. The chief minister said at present 2,477 inmates were lodged invarious jails in the state, including 337 convicts and 1,914 under-trials.
