Early Times Report JAMMU: A huge quantity of explosives was Thursday recovered by security forces from two hideouts of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants in Poonch and Reasi. Police sources said during searches in Nagalban Kasblari forests of Mendhar, Poonch, jawans of police and 39 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) came across a hideout of HM militants. Its search led them to the recovery of seven Chinese grenades, 10 AK rounds, one IED command switch, one Kenwood wireless set having the name plate of Bilal Afghani fixed on it, one VHF wireless set with antenna, one 7.2 Volt battery, one Pak-made anti-personal mine, one kg TNT, three bundles of flexible wire and personal diary of Bilal Afghani. The hideout was later destroyed by the troops, the sources added. Another HM hideout was busted by troops at Chirdon in Triyath, Reasi. Five RPG rounds, 350 Pika rounds, 10 UBGL grenades, two Chinese grenades, one optical weapon sight and some miscellaneous items were recovered from there.
