| A journey from fixed mindset to growth mindset | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Mar 25: To expose them to the developing society, the state police has organised for stone-pelters of Kashmir a journey from fixed mindset to growth mindset. The move was aimed at their rehabilitation, official sources told "The Early Times". Sponsored by the state government, the first such trip was being organised for three dozen stone-pelters of Anantnag district of south Kashmir, the sources added. Police had identified three dozen stone-pelters from different localities of the town for taking them on a 10-day tour to Delhi, Ajmer and Goa. They would be accompanied by two top police officials. Sources said Rs 1.50 lakh had been sanctioned by the government for conducting the tour and about Rs 500 day day would be spent on each individual. Sources said all arrangements for the tour had been finalised and the youth would be leaving in the next couple of days. Sources said the tour was an attempt to expose stone-pelters to areas outside the valley and change their mindset. Police would be organising such tours for stone-pelters from every major township, the sources added.
