JAMMU, Mar 26: Jammu District Ball Badminton Championship, organised by J&K Ball Badminton Association and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council, started today at BN Higher Secondary School, Sunjwan, near here.
On the opening day, Sainik Club and BN Bed College won their respective matches to move into the next round.
The Detailed Results: Sainik Club bt Sunjwan Club 2-1 (15-12, 15-14); BN BEd College bt Jammu Club 2-1 (15-7, 15-13).
Earlier, the championship was declared open by chairman of BN Educational Trust, Gulzar Ahmed Kohli.
