| Constituting of OBC board hailed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 26: The member of OBC bradari in a meeting have hailed the constituting of the OBC board and in appointing verteran congress leader Kuldeep Raj Verma as its head. Chairing the meeting Vice-Chairman, state advisory board Sheraz Ahmad Azhari hailed the decision of UPA chair person Sonia Gandhi, P.M Dr. Manmohan Singh, Omar Abdullah Prof. Saif-Din-Soz etc. Members on the occasion pledged to strengthen the OBCs people under the banner of Congress Party and raised demands for enhancement of reservation quota for OBCs from 2% to 27%, issue of one OBC certificate, construction of separate hostels and scholarships to their children. While thanking the Prof. Soz, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and Madan Lal Sharma (M.P Lok Sabha) in reposing trust inhim, Verma assured that he will come to their expectation in serving the other backward classes for their over all welfare and development. So far their demands he will be taking up with the Chief Minister on priority.
