| ITCO organises programme on capacity building | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Mar 26: The Jammu and Kashmir ITCO organised 7th programme on capacity building on use of consultancy services by client, organised in association with Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) DSIR, Ministry of science and technology, Govt. of India here today. President of Industrial Association, Kathua Davinder Verma was the chief guest and others officers of the J&K SICOP, DIC, along with local industrialists were present. In his welcome address spoke about the background of JKITCO and aim and objective of the programme. He also spoke on usefulness of J&KITCO association with CDC in Capacity Building on use of consultancy services in banks, government department, PSUs and client organizations. President Industrial Association Verma in his speech stressed the importance of consultancy services and activities of Industrial Association in development of entrepreneurs including various government schemes to solve the problems of unemployment presently being faced by the state. The chief consultant of ITCO S.P Sud and consultant Binoy Kumar stressed the importance of consultancy services and activities for the development of entrepreneurs including various government schemes to solve the problems of unemployment presently being faced by the state and they also took the technical session on different aspects of selection of consultants viz short listing, proposal invitation, proposal evaluation and consultant client agreement. Rahul Pandit, J&K ITCO in his vote of thanks highlighted the role of J&KITCO and CDC.
