Jammu, Mar 26: Dr. Ripu Daman Sharam, Divisional Forest Officer has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Science (Geography & Bio-science) by the University of Rajasthan Jaipur.
He worked on the topic "Biodiversity. A Geographical Analysis of Jammu District under the guidance of Dr. R.D. Gupta.
Prior to research work in 1989-90 he has done post Graduation Diploma in Ecology & Environment from Indian Institute of Ecology & Environment, New Delhi, in 1993 he has undertaken training in Pasture & Fodder Development, in 2000 he has done Mass Communication diploma & Journalism from Indira Gandhi Deemed University, New Delhi.
