JAMMU, Mar 26: On the call Central Headquarters, Joint forum of Non Executive and Executive Unions/Associations of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Friday held a Dharna at GMTD Rail Head Complex here. The Convener of the Joint Action Committee N.S Manhas, addressed the gathering demanded settlement of ITS absorption issue, no disinvestment/privatisation of BSNL, no retrenchment/VRS, no unbundling of last mile copper, no outsourcing, immediate procurement of GSM equipments and IDA pension revision.
He also added due to the total failure and mismanagement of the affairs of BSNL by its top managers at different levels, the employees will go on indefinite strike from 20th April, 2010.
