| JJSF seeks VC for Jammu CU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 27: Jammu Joint Students' Federation (JJSF) organised a press conference at Jammu, here today. Partap Singh Jamwal, State Vice President, JJSF chaired. On this occasion, Jamwal said that HRD Ministry had granted two separate Central Universities for J&K Stat but only VC for Kashmir province had been appointed whereas the VC for Jammu CU is yet to be appointed . As the academic session of CU for Jammu was being started that too without the appointment of VC thus it was not possible to start the academic session. Thus it was a monopoly of Govt. that the present academic session was not starting so earlier. He also warned the concerned authorities that the VC should appointed from Jammu region only and also demanded construction of CU campus, appointment of VC and start of academic session with immediate effect. He further said that the ongoing row over the inter district recruitment bill has also backing by those government authorities which are playing a false game over the sentiments of people of Jammu region. He also said that due to the passing of this bill unemployment will increase. He further appealed the representatives of Jammu region to oppose such type of bill in assembly session. College), Varinder Kumar, Rahil Rajput, Abhay Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Sumit Mangotra, Raman Choudhary, Sumit Gupta (City President), Shiv Dev Singh Thakur etc.
