JAMMU, Mar 27: To upgrade the existing infrastructure of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Bantalab, foundation stone for construction of additional sections was laid here today.With the construction of additional sections, the Vidyalaya would be upgraded from Type A to Type B. The foundation stone was laid by PK Koul, AC, and KVS (JR) in the presence of SR Panthi, Chairman VMC & Usha Shamindra, principal of the Vidyalaya. Bhoomi Poojan was conducted with Hawan and chanting of holy mantras.
CPWD officials VS Nagi, Executive Engineer, Ravi Garg AEE, Vishno Bhagwan Jr Engineer along with Vidyalaya staff members were also present on the occasion.
