JAMMU, Mar 27: The BN BEd College lifted the Jammu District Ball Badminton Trophy outplaying Sainik Club 2-1 in the final played today at BN Higher Secondary School, Sunjwan, near here.Losing the first set narrowly 14-15, BN College clinched the following two straight sets 15-11, 15-11 to emerge winner.Third place went to Sunjwan Club, who defeated Jammu Club in straight sets 15-9, 15-7 in hardliner.Rattandeep Singh of Sainik Club was declared man of the tournament, which was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Ball Badminton Association and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council. Prominent among those present in the final were A G Kohli, chairman B N Education Trust, G S Bakshi, Angat Singh and Gurmeet Kour.
