| Adhere strict implementation of new transfer policy: Peerzada to CEOs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 28: Stressing for adhere strict implementation of new transfer policy for teaching staff, issued by the Government, the Mini-ster for School Education, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed has called upon the concerned authorities to avoid the practice of attachments which hamper the studies of the students. This was stated by the Minister while charring a meeting of Chief Education Officers of Jammu Division here today. The meeting reviewed overall functioning of School Education Department. Secretary School Educ-ation, G A Peer, Director School Educations Jammu, Zaheeda Khan and Chief Education Officers of all the districts attended the meeting. The Minister directed the officers to keep a check on opening of mushroom growth of private schools and stressed for strict implementation of the guidelines issued by the Government in this regard. Peerzada instructed for early submission of Draft constitution of Divisional and District levels committees for appointments of class IV employees to the Administrative Department for further necessary action. To implement Mid Day Meal Programme more affectively, the Minister directed the CEOs and Principals of DIETS for monitoring the implementation of the Scheme in all schools. He also asked for active involvements of village Education Committees in the monitoring system. The Meeting also reviewed the pace of progress of construction of kitchen sheds in various schools. The minister directed the concerned authorities that all ongoing works including construction of additional class rooms, toilet blocks should be completed within stipulated time. The Minister exhorted upon the officers to work with dedication and missionary spirit for improving quality education, especially in remote and hilly areas of the State.
