| Freedom fighters’ pension doubled | | | Srinagar, October 13 – The State Government have enhanced the pension for Freedom Fighters.
The rate of pension has been enhanced to Rs 1500 per month for living freedom fighter from Rs 750 per month.
New rate of pension for widows has been increased to Rs 900 per month who were being paid previously at the rate of Rs 450 per month.
Similarly, the new pension rate for un-married daughters of freedom fighters has been enhanced to Rs 600 per month. They were being paid previously @ Rs 300 per month. |
