3/28/2010 11:16:54 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
New DELHI, Mar 28: Delhi ASKPC have criticized the statement of Hurriyat leadership that attitude and response of Indian leaders has been negative and disappointing.
According to a press note issued today, General Secretary of the organisation Kundan Kashmiri contested the claims of Hurriyat leaders while addressing Delhi ASKPC activists. He said India has always been positive in its approach towards separatists as well as Pakistan but negative, unrealistic and hypocratic behavior of separatist leaders destroyed the environment of talks and brought Kashmir to the brink of devastation and also became biggest hurdle to its development. Kashmiri further said stubborn attitude of separatists forced nationalists Kashmiri Pandits to leave their homes. He said that India has always been liberal towards Pakistan despite of grave provocations, persistent terror attacks and non -fulfillment of its commitments. Kundan Kashmiri said accession of J&K state with India is full and final and meaningful dialogue with Pakistan can be possible only after it accept the accession. He vehemently criticized state and centre governments for its anti-KP policies and for gradual withdrawal of displacement concessions like income tax concession and delay and denial of age relaxation to migrant youths. Kashmiri appealed Apex Committee members to resign en mass because of government's failure to listen the grievances of migrants and Apex Committee members seriously to concede their demands.
