| Workshop on children theatre conclude | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT RAMNAGAR, Mar 28: A weeklong children theatre workshop organized by progressive youth society Ramnagar (district Udhampur) in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Akademi New Delhi conclude with the presentation of Hindi play "Andher Nagari" by nineteen students of model high school Rajpura Jammu. Programme executive radio Kashmir Subash Sharma was the chief guest whereas OP Shakir, Drama Director presided over the valedictory function. Renowned social workers Raj She was the guest of honour. The programme started with welcome address by president progressive youth society Manoj Nishchint (poet, writer, lecturer in physics) and thereafter "Leela Devi Memorial award 2008-09" was presented to Sehgal for her missionary and selfless service to society in thundering applause. Hindi play "Andher Nagari" was presented by nineteen children before invited guests and usual audience which was prepared by Sumit Sharma of Natrang. After play, Anjana Padwal and group presented dance item which was also an attraction of the function Subash Sharma P. Ex. OP Shakir, Principal Devbrat Shastri, Sumit Sharma and Sehgal appreciated the initiative taken by society for this children theatre workshop. Students below 15 years received valuable training about theatre. The function concluded with distribution of certificate to artists by the chief guest Om Prakash "Deepak" conducted the proceedings of the function and Uttam Singh "Albela" presented vote of thanks Raj Kumar Sharma coordinated the whole function. Prominent among others were Anand Sharma, Satpaul Sharma, Kritick Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Vishaka, Anjana and Divya.
