| 166 vehicles challaned for defying court directions, violating MVA | | | Srinagar, October 13 - Traffic Police Kashmir in collaboration with Additional Mobile Magistrate Srinagar in a special drive challaned 166 vehicles for defying court directions and Motor Vehicles Act. Of these, 51 vehicles were seized and an amount of Rs.15500 was recovered as fine from the violators. Besides, 4 vehicles including 3 tippers and a bus of 25 years or more were seized.
Such drives will continue unabated and all concerned have been asked not to venture on the roads without proper documents and maintain traffic discipline on roads.
