Jammu, Mar 29: Justice Sunil Hali of J&K High Court, in a contempt petition filed by Jagdev Singh President Talwara Migrants Committee seeking implementation of the direction of Supreme Court regarding the relief to Talwara migrants, has issued notice to Relief Commissioner migrants to file status report before April 15, 2010 indicating at what steps he has been taken in terms of judgment dated November 11, 2009. Court after hearing Adv HC Jalmeria appearing for the petitioners further ordered that in case needful is not done on or before April 15, 2010, the Relief Commissioner migrants shall appear in person before the Court on April 19, 2010. ----JNF |
