| Sanskrit lecture series commence at RSS | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 30: A three day Sanskrit series begins at Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (RSS) kot Bhalwal from today. On the first day renowned Sanskrit scholar, and former head of department of Sanskrit, university of Jammu, Dr Vaid Kumari Ghai delivered lecture on Nilmet Puran, compiled in Kashmir valley. Veisde Prof. Badrinath Kalla delivered lecture on Shaivagam. Addressing the guest, principal Vishwa Murti Shastri, who also inaugurated the function said that the ultimate element of Shiva can be known only through experience, is indescribable, and permeates of the whole universe. The philosophy which gives us the knowledge of Shiva is Shaivism. He described today’s lectures as thought provoking and laudable.Prof. Yashpal Khajuria welcomed the guests while Dr. Satish Kapoor presented the vote of thanks. Earlier, Purshotam and Shambhu Ram, students of the campus, recited the vaidic and pauranic manglacharna.
