| HC restrains FCI from implementing carriage contract allotment | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 31: High court (HC) judge, Justice Sunil Hali has restrained FCI from implementing the carriage contract allotment for transporting stocks from its godowns to various parts of the state.
He ordered that the allotment made in favour of private respondents would not be given effect to till next date of hearing. In a petition, M/S Shivam Enterprises challenged the allotment of transport contract to five transporters as the rate quoted by the firm was lower than the rate quoted by the allottee transporters.
After hearing both sides, Justice Hali issued notice to respondents. |
