Jammu, Mar 31: Nearly 20 lakh people in the state are struggling during the last 30 years to get pahari status, said Zulafqar Ali Rahat Salwah, chairman, Rahat welfare trust (RWT) at a press conference here today. He said during the last 20 days activists are on hunger strike in front of divisional commissioner office, demanding pahari status. He said April 10, will be observed as Pahari day through J&K state. |
