| Appointments since 2005 is violation reservation act: Kundal | | |

Jammu, Mar 31: By making temporary, adhoc, contractual etc appointment since 2005 is full violation of reservation act, said president J&K scheduled caste welfare association (SCWA) advocate BR Kundal at a press briefing here today. He said due to this persons belonging to ST/SC, OBC category are the worst suffers, beside fund received from centre government are not spent purposefully co-related with development needs of the people of the state. He said district committees appointed by the government has been side-lined completely and the commission for SC is not being established till date, while the same is working in other states. He further said, the guidelines issued by the government of India and state government are not being considered, and it shows constitutional guarantees is being internally sabotaged. He urged upon the government to ensure compliance with constitutional provision and the laws for SC / ST in the state. The press conference was also attended by Milkhi Ram, Saran Dass Manyal, Jagdish Raj Bhagat and Krishan Lal.
