JAMMU, Mar 31: Jagdev Singh, patwari halqa Rajnagar in Budhal, Rajouri, who was caught Tuesday by state vigilance organisation (SVO) in an alleged corruption case, was today sent by a court to police remand till Monday.
The patwari was caught red-handed by SVO yesterday while demanding and accepting Rs 3,500 as bribe for issuing house title verification certificate to the complainant, who hails from Rajnagar.
He was today produced in the court of special judge anti-corruption, Jammu, which ordered to send him to police remand till Monday. |
