| Youth shot dead by brother-in-law, another injured | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 31: A youth was shot dead allegedly by his brother-in-law, while his tenant suffered critical bullet injuries at his residence at Old Rehari here today.Some family dispute was stated to be the reason behind the incident, police sources said. Sources said Sanjay Gulati (42) had a scuffle with his brother-in-law Kulbhushan Gupta at the former's Old Rehari residence in the evening. In a fit of anger, Kulbhushan, who owned a banquet hall at Roop Nagar, later fired at least four shots on Gulati from his licenced pistol, resulting in his instant death.Gulati, who hails from Roop Nagar, fled the spot soon after the incident. In the shootout, Gulati's tenant Kuldeep Sharma, a B.Sc. Part II student of GGM Science College, of Kastigarh, Doda, sustained bullet injuries. He was hospitalised. Sources said soon after Gulati collapsed, he was shifted to the GMC Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family members for last rites. He worked in a cloth shop in the city.The Rehari police had registered a murder case against Kulbhushan, who was evading arrest. Raids were being conducted by police to arrest him.
