Drug de-addiction week concludes

KATHUA, Mar 31: Seven days old drugs de addiction camp was organised by the 121bn in collaboration of Non Governmental Organizations, SPEAK India Environmental Foundation, SPERSH, and NYK at Mahatma Gandhi hospital concluded here today. In the camp almost 100 patients were checked by the doctors and useful guide lines to give up the use of drugs for taste to protect the health were given to them.
On the occasion the principal of police training school Kathua SP. Ashok Sharma was the chief guest, who spoke about the importance of the camp which provide all kinds of faculties to motivate the drugs taking people with the full support of health department, he appreciated this endeavor taken by 121Bn of CRPF to curb the menace of drugs addiction which is squarely flourishing among the common mass in general and among youth in particular and causing the major threat to the strength of the nation and its entire peaceful and prosperous social set up. He said that the some drugs mafia are playing very shameful and ugly role to meet their urges for money by doing such standard less and immoral business of drugs. To counter this menace police is very serious and doing its duty effectively but it also requested to the people to support the police and any other organizations which are fighting with this fatal and society weakening culture of drugs addiction. The commanding officer of 121Bn of CRPF Pukh Raj Jaipaul in his address also appreciated the role of motivators who were deployed to motivate the druggists to attend the camp and be checked up by the doctors to leave the worse, hatred, most disliked and life consuming habit.
And he told that the movement of drugs de addiction has been launched by the 121Bn to root out the problems of drugs addiction by awaking and motivate the affected through organizing such awareness programme on drugs de addiction and this camp was also organised with same motive started from 24th march to 31 march at Mahatma Gandhi hospital with the joint venture of few social organization which was fully supported by the medical department of the Kathua by deputing the doctors in which more than 100 case of drugs addiction were checked by the Dr. Hardev Gupta, Dr. Mukul Ubbot and the Dr. Rajesh Chopra. On the conclusion of the programme the motivators were facilitated with certificates by the chief guest. Sunil Monu of SPEAK, Harjinder Singh Updesh Andotra Secretary of Badala Mahila Mandal and Manuj Kesar of SPERSH were also present.
