| Martyrs remembered | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , April 1: On the occasion of 46th Division Raising Day, Maj Gen K Majumdar, General Officer Commanding. Indian Army laid wreath at the Akhnoor War Memorial. The solemn military function was organiz d to pay homage to the brave martyrs who laid their lives to defend the nation territorial integrity during the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak conflicts. The GOC addressed all ranks during the special Sainik Sammelan at the Sangha Auditorium. In the evening Military Band paid tribute to the martyrs by playing fusion music. The occasion was graced by Lt Gen BS Gaswal, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Northern Command, Lt Gen Rameshwar Roy, General Officer Commanding 16 Corps and a number of previous General Officer Commanding of the Crossed Swords Division.
