Speaking on the occasion, state president AISF, Dr. Vimal Singh Manhas said that AISF will continue to oppose the proposed bill by tooth and nail. He also appealed to the legislators of all political parties to oppose the proposed ban to mitigate the sufferings of deprived sections of the society. Prominent among those present included Sushil Katiyal, Ashwani Parihar, Anil Kotwal, Ajay Kumar, Ajay Aryan, Vishal, and Vipan Kumar. Meanwhile, National Bahujan Party (NBP), national president, K.K Manhotra also opposed the ban on Inter-district employment and Permanent resident Certificate (PRC), saying it was unfortunate that the state which consists of people hailing from lower communities and the state in order to provide them extra facilities is banning the inter-district recruitment, which is clearly a case of violation of the fundamental rights of the minorities especially the dalits of the state. Supporting the cause of the OBC's in state, the party President demanded 7% reservation from the government and hailed the government decision of constituting the Advisory Board for OBC and appointment of Kuldeep Raj as its vice-chairman. He further urged upon the party activists to gear up for the Municipal Elections which are round the corner in the state and announced that the party would field their candidates in the entire state.
