| Sanskrit lecture series conclude | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 1: A special lecture series in Sanskrit language organized by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University) concluded here today. On the last day of the lecture Prof Lokesh Verma, Head of the department of education, university of Jammu delivered on importance of measurement and evaluation, whereas Prof JN Walia of the department of education, university of Jammu, delivered a lecture on classroom interaction analysis. Prof Satyapal Shrivats delivered lecture on liguististics. While speaking on his topic, Prof Verma dwelt at length on the method of preparing the research proposal (synopsis) which the audience found very interesting as well as relevant. Prof. Walia gave a brilliant demonstration of the working of flanders matrix in which the students along the audience participated. Addressing the concluding session of the series, Principal Prof. Vishwa Murti Shastri expressed his deep satisfaction about the lecture series and said that such interaction with other educational institutions of repute adds to the knowledge of the students and faculties alike. Earlier, Amit Dhiman and Jitendra Mishra, students of B.Ed department of the campus, recited the vaidic and pauranic manglacharana. The programme was ably conducted by Prof. Vaidya Nath Jha.
